Dr. Kenneth Smith, MD, PhD
Founder and CEO
Our founder, Kenneth Smith, MD PhD, brings over 30 years of engineering and healthcare expertise to deliver proven outcomes. Dr. Smith completed a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois, and possesses a broad knowledge base of physical sciences, numerical methods, experimental design, lab testing, data analysis, literature review and summary, presentation skills, and publishing.
Furthermore, Dr. Smith completed his MD, with Honors at the University of Illinois and is currently practicing as a board-certified surgeon for a major healthcare system.
Dr. Smith’s unique skill set of bridging both the technical and medical communities allows him to lead the Smith Dorning team toward delivering world-class solutions for your biotech consulting and medical publishing needs.
Dr. Smith has worked with solo entrepreneurs who needed to outsource their biotech and publishing needs, and he has worked with major corporations looking to augment their in-house R&D and publishing departments.
